Hampstead Theatre provides a programme of activities to support career development, including work experience, voluntary placements, and training for practitioners and teachers. We aim to inspire and inform young people as they prepare for the transition into further training and employment.
 
Placements

We offer a limited number of 5 - 10 days work experience placements for Year 10 pupils, and 4 - 12 week internships for adults. Places are awarded according to a range of criteria, including a genuine interest in Hampstead Theatre's artistic programme. Adults will need to demonstrate their commitment to developing a career in theatre and/or new playwriting. To find out how to apply, please email creativelearning@hampsteadtheatre.com.

Arts Award and AQA
Hampstead Theatre is currently offering Arts Award Bronze as part of Camden Summer University Impro projects. Arts Award is the first award scheme to recognise the development of young artists and young arts leaders. The Award celebrates the creative progress made by young people and not just their artistic skill and is on the National Qualifications Framework. Visit www.artsaward.org.uk for more details.
