FREE STORYTELLING, WRITING AND PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS

Since 16 November at Hampstead Theatre, supported by North Camden Zone, we have been running a series of free storytelling, performing and playwriting sessions for residents of the Hilgrove and Chalcots Estates.

Working with director and playwright Deborah Bruce (Raya, Hampstead Downstairs) and with Hampstead’s Associate Director Tessa Walker, these sessions have focussed on playing games, creating characters and telling stories.

We are now half-way through our ten week programme and soon will together make, direct and perform a short film with material created in, and a story inspired by, our time together.
