Cas Lester spent over twenty years having a fabulous time making children’s programmes for BBC TV - like The Story of Tracy Beaker and Jackanory. Then CBBC moved to Manchester and so Cas left television and became a children’s writer. She has nine books in print: Nixie the Bad, Bad Fairy series, the Harvey Drew books, Wilfred the (Un)Wise and her latest book: Do You Speak Chocolate? Her books have been translated into six languages.
