OPEN SCRIPT SUBMISSIONS
Here at Hampstead Theatre, we will always pride ourselves on being a theatre that champions and celebrates new writers and new plays. However, in the light of the 100% cut in our Arts Council grant, the theatre can no longer continue solely as a new writing theatre and will have to present a more varied programme, at least on our Main Stage.
Sadly, as a result of the cut, we have had to pause our open script submissions. Please look to our newsfeed and social media for updates.
There are other theatres who might be able to read your work. Some theatres currently accepting open submissions are:
