BLACKOUT SONGS NOMINATED FOR AN OLIVIER AWARD
Joe White’s play is nominated ahead of its return to Hampstead Theatre.
Blackout Songs has been nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Affiliate Theatre at this year’s Olivier Awards.
The play by Joe White had its world premiere at Hampstead Downstairs in November 2022 in production directed by Guy Jones with design by Anisha Fields, lighting by Christopher Nairne, sound by Holly Khan and movement by Iskandar R. Sharazuddin.
The sold-out hit transfers to Hampstead’s main stage for a limited run of four weeks from 8 April with the original cast – Alex Austin and Rebecca Humphries.
Earlier this year Blackout Songs was nominated for three Off West End awards with Rebecca Humphries receiving The Offies Award for Best Lead Performance.
The Olivier Award winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 2 April 2023.
Tickets for Blackout Songs can be booked here.
