Howard Brenton, writer of the critically acclaimed Drawing the Line will be taking part in a live webchat with The Guardian following the live-streaming of Drawing the Line at 1pm on Tuesday 14 January.
He’ll be answering your questions on the play and his whole career – ask him about anything, from his big break with William Gaskill at the Royal Court and his state-of-the-nation plays to enraging Mary Whitehouse with The Romans in Britain, examining the power of the press in Pravda and even triumphing on TV with Spooks. Post your questions on The Guardian’s website or tweet them to @GuardianStage. Visit theguardian.com/stage on Tuesday to chat live to Howard and to read his replies.
